3 TO 6 GREAT COLOR COMBOS
Many artists use a “limited palette” with as little as 3 colors. The benefit is that the colors can be chosen to work together harmoniously within a painting. And the narrow color choice makes this harmony effortless. 3 colors, when mixed, can create a surprisingly complete color wheel, while 6 colors can create a full spectrum of hues that can rival those produced by a 12 color set.
