Swatch Card Hack from Portable Painter Artist

Rose-Marie E. from Northern California, purchased a Micro Palette in 2021 and really enjoyed using it. She prefers to have a swatch card with her palette, but the Micro is so small that it took her a while to figure out a way to make that work:

“Everyone has standard swatch cards but there’s no place to have them readily viewable and attached to the Micro. It would be ideal if there was a sleeve that the card can slide into and be easily replaced when the artist’s color choices change. I painted a tiny swatch of the six colors I installed in my palette, then made a simple plastic sleeve to hold it. I taped the closed end of the sleeve to the bottom of the water container, arranged so that the colors faced outward. This allows me to fold out the flap so that I can see the swatch while I’m using the Micro. I also added a small piece of Instant Tacky to the base, to hold the flap closed when the palette is not in use. I wanted to let you know about the concept as a simple, useful addition. It would be minimal cost and helpful to the artist or beginner.”
