I made this assemblage last year, on the spur of the moment. I had a bunch of leftover, paint-color swatches from a local store. The wide range of pure, intense colors really spoke to me, so I decided to finally use them. The result was an expression of fragile life bursting out of confinement; with dark clouds looming, but the sun breaking through.
